Attorney Howard Mintz

Howard Mintz is of counsel with the Ferrell Law Group. Mr. Mintz graduated magna cum laude from Boston University in 1989 with a major in political science and a minor in economics. Mr. Mintz then attended Duke Law School from which he graduated with honors in 1993. He is admitted to practice law in Texas, Florida, and Massachusetts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Mintz worked in Washington, D.C., in the commercial litigation group for a firm with nationwide and international offices. He was then recruited to be the law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Federated States of Micronesia, a position which he held for one year. Subsequently, Mr. Mintz moved to Texas where he worked in an insurance defense firm and then as in-house counsel for several commonly owned corporate entities.
